Remember cash?

Money used to be just money.

You took it out, you spent it, and nobody rang you to ask why. FVAMPay brings that back for the online world, with one improvement.

Nobody asked what it was for

One check when you sign up. After that, your payments are your business.

Nobody could decline it

No bank sits between you and a merchant in the network. If you've got the balance, it goes through.

It was yours

The keys to your wallet live on your phone. We can't move your money, and neither can anyone else.

The improvement

Lose your phone and your money is still there. Sign in on a new one with Face ID.

Feels like your banking app. Minus the questions.

A balance in pounds, a card, a statement, a human to talk to. Under five minutes to your first payment, and the only screens that aren't ours are Apple Pay or your bank app while you add money.

1

Sign up with Face ID

Email or phone, then your face. That's your wallet. Confirm it's you once: name, date of birth, address. Thirty seconds, and the last time anyone asks.

2

Add money

Add £20 with Apple Pay or your bank app. Your balance shows in pounds about a minute later. Your bank statement says “FVAMPay top-up” and nothing else.

3

Pay with Face ID

At checkout, tap Pay with FVAMPay or type your pay ID. Your phone buzzes, you approve, done. Subscriptions renew on their own and cancel in one tap, which actually stops them.

Works at merchants in the network.

FVAMPay is its own rail. It isn't built on Visa or Mastercard, so it doesn't inherit their fees or their rules. Every merchant here chose to be paid this way, agreed to our refund policy, and gets paid the moment you approve.

Sectors are added one at a time. Not available at the supermarket yet.

Where you can pay

The list lives in the app, under your card.

Every merchant on it has been verified, agreed to the network refund policy, and gets paid the moment you approve. New ones appear as they join.

  • Verified business, screened at signup
  • Signed up to the network refund policy
  • Paid directly, so there's no account to close

For merchants

Get paid by everyone who wants to pay you. 2.5% a payment.

There's no middleman, so there's nobody to pay for one. No reserves, no minimums, no termination letters. FVAMPay settles to a wallet you own, in seconds.

2.5% per payment, nothing else

No monthly fees, no reserve held back, no minimum volume.

Paid in seconds, to your own wallet

No settlement delay and no account that can be closed on you.

Your customers top up free

Their top-up fee is refunded to them the moment they pay you. It's in the rate.

Integrated in an afternoon

A button, a webhook, a dashboard. Subscriptions included.

If something goes wrong, you're covered.

Three layers of refund, and a plain account of what we can and can't do.

Refunds and safety in full

From the merchant

Every merchant in the network signs up to a 14-day refund policy and pro-rata refunds when you cancel.

Through us

If a merchant doesn't honour it, we step in, and merchants who don't play fair are removed from the network.

FVAMPay Protection

If a merchant disappears, charges you twice or never delivers, we reimburse you up to £100 per claim from our own funds.

Questions people actually ask

Is FVAMPay a bank?

No. A bank holds your money and decides what you can do with it. FVAMPay gives you a wallet only you control and a way to pay merchants in the network. We never hold funds, which is also why we can't lose them.

What does my bank see?

A top-up to FVAMPay, the same as any other transfer. It never sees which merchant you paid or what you bought.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Every merchant in the network has agreed to our refund policy, we step in if they don't honour it, and FVAMPay Protection covers you if a merchant disappears or charges you twice. Subscriptions cancel in one tap.

Do I need to understand crypto?

No. You'll see pounds, Face ID and a pay ID. The ledger underneath does the settlement; you never touch it.

Why can't I use it at the supermarket?

Not yet. FVAMPay isn't a Visa or Mastercard card, and a till only understands those today. We're our own rail, and we add places to pay one sector at a time.

What could stop a payment?

Only two things. You decline it, or you don't have the balance. There is one rare exception that isn't us: the company that issues the digital currency your balance is held in can freeze an address on a court or law-enforcement order. We can't do that, we can't undo it, and we'll always tell you if it happens.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Sign in on your new phone with Face ID and the same wallet and balance are there. You can add a trusted contact who can approve recovery if you'd like a second route.
